The fees are available to view on the registration page.
If you are a current financial member of HSANZ, ANZSBT or THANZ, you are eligible to register using the member rate. You can apply for membership at the same time as registering to also claim the member rate.
These rates are subsidised to encourage attendance for the nurse, scientist and data manager professionals. All other professionals (corporate, pharmaceutical representatives etc) should register at the physician rate.
The full registration fee will include attendance at the full Meeting Program from 20 - 23 October 2019 as well as a ticket to the Welcome Function and Gala Dinner.
One-Day and Two-Day registration passes will also be available.
No, masterclasses are an additional cost and take place on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Each masterclass is limited to approximately 30 attendees.
If you are unable to register prior to Blood 2019, you can register onsite at the Registration Desk. Please note, payment will be required at this time via a credit card or cash (in Australian currency only).
All cancellations must be received in writing so please email email@example.com. Cancellation notice received prior to 6 September will be eligible for a refund, less a AU$75 administration fee. Cancellations after this date are non-refundable, however you are able to transfer your registration to another person.
Individuals wanting to attend one session must register for a one day pass for that day, unregistered attendees will not be allowed access to sessions or other Meeting events.
Upon full payment of the Meeting registration fees, you request an invitation letter by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Invitation letters will not be supplied to unpaid or unregistered participants, and we reserve the right to refuse to provide invitation letters for attendees. Please note that we do not give any further support or advice about the visa application process. Obtaining a visa remains the sole responsibility of the participant.
No there is no partner registration. However, you will be able to purchase tickets for them to attend the Welcome Function and Gala Dinner.
Yes, a Certificate of Attendance can be requested after the Meeting and will be emailed to you.
We encourage persons with disabilities to participate in the program and social activities. Please contact email@example.com to request services or other accommodations for any special needs or note these on your registration form. If you have dietary preferences, please be sure to mark those on the space provided on the registration form when you register.
The abstract submission deadline is Tuesday, 18 June 2019.
No, there is no late breaking abstract submission.
There are a number of awards and travel grants available, more information and eligibility for these awards is available here.
Authors will be advised in early September via email.
The presentation can be delivered by another named author, this author must have been included on the original abstract submission. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to advise of any change of presenter.
Please email email@example.com to advise you will need to withdraw or update your abstract.
Abstracts will be made available electronically, via the Meeting website and the app, shortly before the Meeting.
All invited speakers are required to submit a short abstract for inclusion in the electronic abstract supplement. Please submit your abstract in word using the abstract template to firstname.lastname@example.org by 1 August 2019.
No, you can use your own template however please ensure it us formatted to a 16:9 ratio.
There will be a Speaker Preparation Room available for you to finalise and load your presentation. Please ensure you deliver your presentation to the technicians in the Speaker Preparation Room at least 1 hour prior to your session.The location and opening times for this room will be advised closer to the time of the Meeting.
Each poster is limited in size to A0, 1189 high x 841 wide (millimetres) and portrait orientation is required. Larger posters cannot be accommodated. Poster presenters must email a PDF version of their poster to email@example.com by 21 September for printing. The Blood 2019 Meeting will be printing the posters and you can collect these onsite. You will not be able to bring your own poster. More information on the poster requirements will be provided upon acceptance for a poster presentation.
